1. The Unknown Soldiers of Brown Hospital Marker
Inscription. These Confederate soldiers, all serving in the Georgia Militia, died at Brown Hospital in Milledgeville and were buried at this location. Their names soon became lost, and they were considered Unknown Soldiers until 2003 when their identities were discovered.

Location. 33° 4.525′ N, 83° 13.679′ W. Marker is in Milledgeville, Georgia, in Baldwin County. It can be reached from S. Liberty Street continued. Located between S. Wilkinson Street and S.
