Regarding House of Francisco Lanzagorta. Francisco Lanzagorta Inchaurregui (Real de Catorce, San Luis Potosí, 1791 - Chihuahua, Chihuahua, May 11, 1811), was a member of the Spanish royalist military who participated with the insurgents during the War of Independence of Mexico.
Lanzagorta was a lieutenant of the Spanish Dragoons of San Miguel when he joined with the insurgents of Querétaro at the request of Ignacio Allende. He took part in the insurrection of the city of San Luis Potosí along with Luis de Herrera, but was apprehended by the troops of Felix Maria Calleja on September 18, 1811 and was imprisoned in the convent of San Juan de Dios in San Luis
On November 10, insurgents led by Rafael Iriarte took over the town and the prisoners were released. Lanzagorta joined forces with José Mariano Jiménez in Matehuala. Soon after he was arrested with the other insurgents in Acatita of Baján as they attempted to reach the United States. On May 11, 1811, he was one of the first to be shot in the city of Chihuahua.
