1. Cunningham Cemetery Marker
Inscription. The first known burial here is Charles Cunningham who died September 28, 1852. Many unmarked fieldstones are present that could mark older graves. The cemetery contains 82 identifiable burials with headstones. Six Confederate soldiers, WWI, and WWII veterans are buried here. Family names found here include Christopher, Cunningham, Daniel, Garner, Haney, Jackson, Jacobs, Ledlow, Seamans, Skeets, Smith, Townsend, Vinson, and Westmoreland. The Cunningham Cemetery is being preserved by descendants of those buried here. They hope this special place and those buried here are never forgotten.
