More about this marker. This historical marker is situated on the original location of the Navarre-Anderson Trading Post. This building was in this original location on the days of the Battles of the River Raisin, and the building still proudly displays it's battle scars to prove it. In 1972 this building was moved approximately 3.7 miles west of town to its current location, in the Monroe County Historical Society's museum complex.
