1. Frances Slocum Marker
Inscription. Captured as a child by the Delaware Indians in 1778 from her Pennsylvania home, she grew up with the Indians, married a Miami chief, and lived in Indiana till her death, 1847.
 
Erected 1968 by Indiana Society of Pioneers. (Marker Number 85.1967.1.)

Location. 40° 41.918′ N, 85° 54.451′ W. Marker is near Somerset, Indiana, in Wabash County. Marker is on County Road 900 S 0.2 miles west of County Road 650 W, on the right when traveling east.
