Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation Historical Markers

In 1968, the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation began an Historic Landmark Plaque program to recognize architecturally significant structures and designed landscapes throughout Allegheny County. In 2010, the plaque program expanded to include surrounding counties. More than 600 plaques have been placed throughout the region.
