Plaza D
La Plaza D es una amplia plaza completamente rodeada de construcciones. Nunca ha sido investigada, por lo que se desconocen sus detalles. Se aduce que, al igual que las demás plazas, fue construida como un espacio en donde se llevaban a cabo actividades políticas, religiosas y recreativas. Los restos de un tercer palacio parecen encontrarse en la parte suroeste de la plaza.

Location. 14° 44.03′ N, 90° 59.684′ W. Marker is in Tecpán Guatemala, Chimaltenango. It can be reached from Vía Sin Nombre. The marker is at the far southern portion of the Archaeological Park of Iximche, to the east of a clay tile roofed informational kiosk. The park is south of the city of Tecpán Guatemala on a road known locally as the "Road to Iximche". Touch for map.
