Iglesia del antiguo convento del mismo nombre, edificada en el siglo XVII; en ella estuvo presa la corregidora Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, impulsor de la Independencia de México.

This church belonged to the convent of the same name, built in the 17th century. Here the Corregidora Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez, early promoter of Mexican Independence, was held prisoner.
