1. Baptism of Hidalgo Marker
This is one of the few markers to use Hidalgo's mother's last name of Gallaga. Most markers show his name as Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla.

En la capilla que existio en este lugar fue bautizado el inmortal heroe de la independencia mexicana D. Miguel Hidalgo y Gallaga el 16 de mayo 1753.
El Ayuntamiento de 1909.

English translation:
In the chapel that existed in this place was baptized the immortal hero of Mexican independence Miguel Hidalgo y Gallaga on May 16, 1753.
