Stewardship and Sustainability
Agriculture is the oldest occupation in the world and farmers are the first conservationists! Farmers work in a uniquely close way to natural resources. The success of their businesses are directly dependent on the health of the soil, water and air on the farm. It is important to remember that the journey of food to our plate begins with a farmer placing a seed in the soil, watering that seed and tending to it. Every bite of food we take is created by farmers who protect our health and harness the power of natural resources.

Best Management Practices
American Farmers and Ranchers are constantly looking for ways to improve their production techniques and increase the conservation of natural resources. They work together, with scientists and with our government to continually seek ways to improve their operations.
