Inscription.
Mount Olivet Cemetery contains the graves of hundreds of Union and Confederate soldiers who fought in the nearby battles of South Mountain, Antietam, Gettysburg and Monocacy.

Interesting locations include Barbara Fritchie's gravesite, Confederate Row and Monument, the G.A.R. Lot, and a memorial to the children who fought and died in the Civil War.
