Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico — The Central Highlands (North America)
Samir Flores Soberanes
(02/08/82-20/02/19)
No olvidamos, no perdonamos. Juicio y castigo para los responsables. ¡Nunca te borrarán de nuestra memoria!
¡Samir somos todas y todos!

Samir Flores Soberanes
August 2, 1982 – February 20, 2019
Originally from indigenous and peasant lands, he was a guide to the deepest struggles and the voice of many voices that seek to be protagonists of history. He opposed the dispossession of his people's land and the natural disaster that would involve the construction of the Huexca Thermoelectric Plant. He was murdered at the door of his house. He was murdered in a democracy. The state did not take responsibility.
We said never again and we will not allow death to become customary. We do not forget, we do not forgive. Trial and punishment for those responsible. They will never erase you from our memory!
Samir is all of us!
