1. The 1964-65 New York World's Fair Marker
Inscription. These rockets and artifacts were a highlight of the 1964-65 New York World's Fair, representing the current and future technology on which America's hopes in the space race depended. Other space age attractions included computer and aerospace attractions included computer and aerospace exhibits, plus the symbol of the fair itself — the Earth "Unisphere," symbolizing the human emergence into space.
