Mosquito Lake Dog Park Friends
The Mosquito Lake Dog Park officially opened in July 2009.

Also known as the Cooperation Station because several entities came together to make the Dog Park a reality; Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Army Corp of Engineers, Trumbull County MetroParks, Trumbull County Youth Build and Mosquito Lake Dog Park Friends.

The Mosquito Lake Dog Park Friends is a dedicated group of volunteers whose mission is to promote, enhance and protect the dog park.

In 1949, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers entered into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to manage the recreation on the lake. 1.2 million outdoor enthusiasts visit Mosquito State Park annually.

Our Mission: To provide exceptional outdoor recreation and boating opportunities by balancing outstanding customer service, education, protection and conservation of Ohio's state parks and waterways.

State Park is a non-profit organization whose mission; To preserve for future generations the Mosquito Lake State Park and Campgrounds by promoting the preservation and protection of its resources and to encourage community and visitor participation in the efforts.

The Friends of Mosquito Lake was established in 2009 with their first event being a Halloween Bash.
