Here Rests the Remains of Unnamed Citizens
[top]
Here rests the remains of unnamed citizens whose lives shaped this land but whose names were lost to time. While their identities are not clear, archival records suggest that a diverse community, including people of color, were interred in this space. They are not forgotten. We honor their memory, their resilience, and their contributions. May this place serve as a testament to their lives and a call to remember. This marker honors the lives of those interred at Miraflores Park and serves as the final resting place for the two individuals recovered from under the Boy Scout Building in 2021.
Your soul and spirit are not.
They are in the wind, everywhere.
