The steep boulder terrain before you is the habitat of the desert bighorn sheep. These majestic rock dwellers are rarely seen.

Native peoples applied skills passed from one generation to the next to successfully hunt the wary desert bighorn. Bow and arrow was an effective technology that was light weight, accurate, and lethal for hunting bighorn, as well as pronghorn and deer.
