Beginning in Arkansas City, it follows the Mississippi River levee to Rohwer, then transitions to the railroad right-of-way to end a mile south of Lexa., As you traverse three counties - Phillips, Arkansas, and Desha - you may see migrating butterflies, songbirds, ducks, and geese. Delta wetlands are some of the most productive wildlife habitat in North America.
