The Monika W. Andrews Children's Park, the first handicapped-accessible playground in Monroe County, was created in 1997 by the Village of Brockport Parks Committee, Andrea Perry, Chair; Mary Ann Thorpe, Mayor. Monika W. Andrews, a committee member, provided the leadership on this project.
