1. Soldiers Rest CSA Cemetery Marker
Inscription. Begun May 15, 1866 by Ladies Confederate Cemetery Assn. of Vicksburg. Remains of over 1600 soldiers who died in Vicksburg campaign & siege were re-interred here.
 
Erected 1959 by Mississippi Historical Commission.
