1. Vineyard Tract Marker
Inscription. Here was an experimental farm for the culture of grapes established by the Virginia government in 1769. On this tract stood a hospital of the French-American army, 1781.
 
Erected 1927 by Conservation & Development Commission. (Marker Number W-46.)
