Párroco español que llega a Juana Díaz en el año 1883, a la edad de 23 años. Fue Gestor de las Centenarias Fiestas de Reyes. En 1884 es atraido por un acto revelador, donde reúne varios feligreses y crea el primer desfile de Reyes, celebrado el 6 de enero. Este desfile fue caminando desde la parte norte del pueblo (hoy calle Comercio), con canticos religiosos donde los jovenes representaban los reyes y pastores hasta llegar a la iglesia. Esta fiesta es hoy día, la más antigua celebración religiosa y cultural de Puerto Rico. Por lo que se considera Patrimonio Nacional e Nuestra Tierra.
Spanish parish priest who arrived in Juana Díaz in 1883 at the age of 23. He was Manager of the Centenary Fiestas de Reyes. In 1884 he gathered several parishioners and created the first Tres Reyes parade, celebrated on January 6. This parade was walked from the northern part of town (today Calle Comercio), with religious songs with young people cosplaying as the Three Kings and shepherds until they reached the church. Today, this festival is the oldest religious celebration in Puerto Rico. It is part of our land's national heritage.
