Literary Landmarks Historical Markers
Marker program sponsored by United for Libraries to encourage recognition of historic literary sites. The Literary Landmarks Association was founded in 1986. In 1989, the Literary Landmarks™ project became an official Friends of Libraries USA committee program, which continues under United for Libraries, the division of ALA created by the joining of FOLUSA and ALTA. Dedications have included homes of famous writers, libraries and museum collections, literary scenes and more.1 ► Alabama, Lauderdale County, Florence — T.S. Stribling Literary Landmark — |
